Executive Committee

This committee gives the board advice about its strategic and governance responsibilities.

Finance and Performance Committee

This committee oversees and provides advice to the board on our financial position and performance.

It also gives advice on strategies to manage resources like technology, buildings and equipment.

Audit and Risk Committee

This committee helps the board oversee:

  • financial statements
  • internal control structure
  • internal audit function
  • risk management systems
  • compliance systems.

It handles our contact with the Queensland Audit Office and is responsible for assessing external audit reports and actions taken in response.

Safety and Quality Committee

This committee helps the board with strategies to improve the safety and quality of health care. They give advice about our performance, governance arrangements and compliance.

They promote a culture of open and honest reporting of any situation that may change the quality of patient care.
