Our Health Indicators Report 2021-2025 describes the health status of the West Moreton population, identifies important and emerging health issues and highlights area of opportunity for innovative public policy and future research.

This report focuses on demographics and health outcomes including mortality and hospitalisation rates for major diseases, mortality and incidence rates for selected cancers, as well as avoidable mortality and potentially preventable hospitalisations. The report also includes sections on cancer screening rates, maternal and child health and chronic disease risk factors. This report has utilised the most recent available data for numerous key health indicators.

This report has not captured health service-related indicators such as dental and oral health, community mental health, prison health, or drug and alcohol services. These were considered out of scope for this report, however, may be covered in subsequent reports and/or via complementary resources such as a factsheet/stats bite.
