West Moreton Health is excited to invite talented artists to submit their expression of interest (EOI) for commissioned artwork to be featured in the new 90-bed facility at Ripley. This state-of-the-art facility will provide crucial services, including rehabilitation, older persons’ care, palliative care, and general medical services for the local community.
The facility is situated next to the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic and Outpatient Clinics on Botany Drive, South Ripley, and will serve as a vital part of healthcare for our growing region.
What is the EOI for?
West Moreton Health is seeking a range of artworks that will transform and enhance the spaces in our new facility.
We are looking for art that:
- celebrates and helps us learn about our community, its history and culture
- creates culturally safe spaces for First Nations patients and staff, recognising their ongoing connection to land, water and culture
- contributes to a warm, welcoming environment that fosters comfort, calm and healing.
Opportunities available
We are offering three distinct opportunities for artists:
- Opportunity 1: First Nations Art Feature Piece
A two-part artwork installation for the main entrance foyer and surrounding area leading to the Indigenous Health Liaison Office (budget up to $25,000). - Opportunity 2: Art for Patient Dining Areas
